G·O·I·A recognizes 5 different membership levels: from 1-star to 5-star membership. Furthermore, you can be eligible for honorary membership or life membership. Which level the member has reached is rated on the basis of an internal certification system.

The rating system awards different points for academic and scientific history, the knowledge in special fields, the clinical experience and the number of implants inserted and documented. Accordingly, the 1-star status is awarded to members who are interested in the international exchange in the field of oral implantology but have no long-term experience. The number of stars increases with updated qualifications and expanded know-how.

The individual rating of the qualification enables the G·O·I·A members to obtain an optimal post-graduate education, the opportunity for improving their skills and for extending their international reputation.
